JIM ALLENS PHOTO GALLERY
Jim Allen is one of Canada’s hard, working photographer’s who is always approaching new conceptual work in two disciplines off Photography and Painting. After living in NY for 10 years Jim has been paying attention to his fine art portfolio. The work on this site represents his art over the past 10 years and his newest study is all about Visualization.
You will be able to see a lot of the photos and or paintings on this site and also are welcome to write with any of your own achievements or questions you might have about this subject. On average Jim goes out to shoot photos on the streets of Toronto two to three times a week and he freely approaches many different subjects which you will now be able to see.
Jim also spends a lot of time developing his abstract paintings heavily influenced by native African themes, and more Eastern ideas. One of his major influences has been Henrik Drecsher a Reactor Design Illustrator. Henry Miller has given Jim the groundwork of art studies in his book “Paint and Die Happy.” Jim recommends this Book as a book all people can relate to in their quest to be artists of note.
The approach to this site is direct and will highlight work that’s continues to grow as long as health is good. Jim feels that he teaches himself to see visualization as a path of communication with the viewer. Many artistic disciplines can now teach the art of visualization such as dance, painting, photography, music, film and many more creative expressions.
